Volvoson
I would rather spend that $25k on my own car.
JCviggen
I'm pretty sure he wont get that price for it though. I've seen more of those swedish supervolvos for sale, they all ask a rediculous amount of money on it, but in the end if they actually need to sell it they have to pretty much cut the price in half. the underlørd
Jan, what's the average price for a used 850T over there?
JCviggen
Depends on condition and mileage...I got my T-5R for 7500€.Generally speaking you can find decent 850T manuals for 5-8k euro.

PorBleemo
DougK is already working on an engine rebuild project. Methings it would be cheaper to ask him to build up your engine and then add a bigger turbo.
Gioseppe
that's a nice color on that car. too bad it's a turbo with an r front valence. i can read swedish . not really.

swede
First you can't compare prices in Sweden and rest of Europe, e.i in Germany the Volvo's are much cheaper then in Sweden mostly because the Swedish Volvo's have much lower milage then German cars and are in better shape. I would say that an averege price on a stock 96-97 850 T5 in Sweden is around $10,000, the stw are higher. My 100,000 mile 98 V70R awd auto is selling for about $15,000, so when i traded it even for my Syclone with broken transmission i did a very good deal.
