sks40
Lately I have noticed that my S40 is nose diving more. Thought it was just that it needed new rear brakes but after replacing them it still dives. Also seems to get more motion under hard acceration. Did the bounce test and the shocks and struts seem ok. Any guesses??Stan

Guest Stormin Normin
Struts getting soft? How many miles? If >50K, hello Bilstein.
sks40
I actually only have 25K miles on the car so it is surprising that the struts would be going. Not sure what else it could be though. It does seem to be getting worse. More motion during braking, accelerating and cornering. Doesn't seem bouncy yet though. If they made Bilstein HDs for the S40 I would consider them. The TCs seem like direct replacement and not really an upgrade. The only other I found is the Koni 'yellow'.
