Guest 300+_T5R_855
It's a tranparent powder coat.It is going in from the bottom like at the factory. No scratches here. Old gear to come out tomorrow and midweek I hope to start putting it back in. I still have a lot of parts cleaning and preparation before it goes back in. The transmission needs the same treatment as the block.
GShyneDM
looks awesome!so what manifold did you end up deciding to get?
Guest 300+_T5R_855
I am going to wait on getting a maniold, too much money to lay out at the moment. If I get the manifold I will want to get it ceramic coated. That's about $500+ out of pocket that I just can't spring for right now. I would like to make a tuned stainless exhaust at some point, but that's a topic for another day. Too many ideas, too little time.
Guest 300+_T5R_855
Well, I will likely need an exhaust manifold sooner than later. I noticed some cracking in this one when I was cleaning it up for paint. I didn't get a whole lot done today (working on pulling the sub-frame), but here are some new pics.Pin striped fuel rail cover, same color as "R" calipers.Baked ceramic paint on exhaust, almost killed me until I opened some windows.
