stevec
Good news Rich,I replaced S1 & S2 yesterday and now the trasnission shifts beautifully. Your short cuts were very helpful as far as not having to drop the support frame. I'm sure it not only saved me time but knuckle busters as well. Now I just need to reset the fault code to stop the arrow from flashing. My son crashed my red 850 Saturday afternoon. He's fine except feeling pretty bad about totaling my car. Someone blew a red light as he was turning left at the intersection. The tow truck driver said they'll probably total it due to the airbags inflating. Even if they do I'll be buying it back to make the repairs to the front. My only question is how much do two new airbags cost to replace? Thanks again for your help in resolving my tranny problem.Steve C.
Bay13
Glad to hear your son is OK. The clearing the codes procedure can be found here:Reading and Clearing Codes. You might also want to disconnect the battery for 10 minutes to reset all adaptives in the engine and trans computers.
