This is true, but if he keeps making mistakes and wont fess up to them or right the wrongs. Someone should take action.

Are you always all talk and no action? <_< You have complained about the same problem in several posts, and repeatedly saying someone needs to take action. If you want to see someone take action, why don't you do it?

by the way- though is seems unprofessional on how Oliver has handled the problems, he has still made resolutions to them in the end. As long he is resolving the issues, there is no fraud or illegal activities occurring, therefore no government agencies (BBB, etc.) will do anything. BBB won't even allow you to file a claim against Oliver on this because he has resolved the issues. The only course of action would be to complain to ST at corporate-level.

Also V Tuning - Though it may not seem right, legally Oliver is not required to reimburse or pay for return shipping, even though the issues were due to his error. If you are happy with chip in the end, suck up the $14 loss and let it go. You still paid less than you would have with any other chip.

Agreed with the man who has a v70 on 19's!

I think it is stupid to try and ruin him like that, because BBB would ruin if not completely destroy any shred of reputation he has.

So maybe he is slipping, but why don't you tell him first instead of just saying yeah someone should take action bla blah.

It's the principle of the thing that bugs me. I have decided to suck the $14 up because I don't see him ever repaying it.

Who'd you deal w/for your Upsolute remap, Mark?

Several guys. I originally got the map from Bill@Adrenaline racing. He was fairly good to deal with, although it took a while to get my 19T from him.

For the remap, I first contacted a local guy. He then referred me to Tazz? who I think is in Eastern Canada? He then forwarded my info onto Ali? I think he said.. and i've heard nothing since. Last email I got was over a month ago.

I just shipped out the ECU to him. It's supposed to arrive in a week or so.

Oliver just told me that I won't have a problem with the non-EGR ECU. It'll still throw a code for the rear o2 sensor, but it won't affect anything and won't cut the boost. <<<<<< is this true?

He also said he'll try to locate an original E-spec ECU.

300 bucks(that includes the flex pipe and labor) he'll warranty it for 3 years too. hes a friend. to stay on the subject, im a business manager for a large car dealership, and trust me when the better business bureau sends us a fax on certain things, we take them seriously! just FYI,

MAKE SURE: He welds on a bracket to allow the down pipe to be bolted to where the stock down pipe bolted to the block. My ATR down pipe wouldn't stay tight up at the turbo flange until I had that done.

Um before any better business bureau is brought in (I don't think the need is there) You need to try a HELL of alot harder to get ahold of him. That can ruin someone.

okay this is trunks850, for some reason VS wont let me long in at my home computer, but anyways. getting the BBC involved is only to let him know your serious about resolving the issue. he will have plenty of time after the BBC gets involved to make things right before it acually goes through and ruins him. i should have said its one of those last resorts. after reading this thread he might have done a few things to cover his a$$ legally, but morally he hasnt done much, just said what he is going to do. the BBC is there for moral reasons to help the consumer(belive me i know this since i help run a million dollar used car dealership). so fi his actions dont reflect his word, then dont feel bad to get the BBC involved, because, trust me(remember, used car man!) they will give him plenty of notice of the suit before THEY take action. just FYI!

Will having a CEL for the rear o2 sensor affect anything?

I doubt it will affect anything... I don't know for sure though.

I know that Doug drives around with his CEL on for his rear o2 sensor, and his car still boosts as much as it should.

Yea, but Doug is running an MBC... maybe that's why his ECU is not cutting the boost!?

CEL for rear O2 will not affect engine running at all - it's purely emissions related.

FWIW, my euro spec S40 has a rear O2 sensor. But the ECU totally ignores it... Perhaps the Euro 70s/850s are the same?
