mikie
Since one of my S/V70R side grill poped during driving I decided to go get those DIY Grilles. The sides didn't look good just like that so I integrated them into the existing grill that I had - just need to buy 1 more. The center grill is finished just need to paint it black. And the sides have to still be sanded down nice nice and painted. What do you guys think? Those grilles cut you up easy

mikie
the wire that comes in a spindle is your friend. Now it's mounted with the srews, everything painted black doesn't look too bad. I will get some wire and see what I can do and then remove the srews.

FINN
what i did was bend strips of the wire in a "U" shape. Insert from the front, and twist the little ends. The wire is so thin it looks like the mesh is floating.

mikie
hold up..You have an R bumper on the car right now? what of the Flaps?I have the regular S70 bumper, but had installed the S/V70R grill inserts. But the middle piece never fit properly and lost the left grill while driving so I decided to put those DIY grilles in the middle and change up the sides a little.I still got my flaps, just had to remove them to do the install. But I've been thinking to get the R bumper. Mine is cracked, gonna have to get a new one so I'm thinking maybe get the R bumper...but I dunno yet.
