Bambam Posted November 4, 2005 Report Share Posted November 4, 2005 It was a modified renault engine from the renault 5 GTEThe turbo engine was modified by Porsche to make 0,9 bar but volvo said they only wanted a softturbo so the boost was reduced to 0,38 bar with overboost in 4th and 5th gear to 0,48 bar. So it is no problem to turbn up the boost to 0,9 bar without harming the motor.
