Asinine
Well, i just made my first big purchase for the new car, and i've realized that these things AREN'T CHEAP. well i knew that before with my 854, but wow.. i'd kinda forgotten since it had been so long since it needed work.I just bought (EST) new tune up parts, torque mount, k&n air filter, and turn signals. I also need to get new samco turbo hoses before my dad starts fixing his (my old) '94 854 wreck, and another biggie before that time as well. All the while i'm in school and not making anywhere near the boat loads of money this little lady deserves!? Patrick. Asinine
I'm spending money i know i'll have so i don't feel TOO bad. T-minus 2 months till done school and am not restricted by my schedule in getting a new job. Not to mention my summer employer will be doing a massive hire within the next 4 months. In any case, money is only a temporary hurdling block!? You're going to kill youself in the long run when you have to make real purchases like a house. If you can't pay cash for it, don't buy it unless it's a REAL emergency. Asinine
No, those are things i don't really need, but my dad is going to have to buy 850 parts and it will give me an opportunity to upgrade my stock parts.Really money isn't that much of a concern, I'm sure of my employment come the new year and it will be more than enough to cover anything. Not to mention none of this - if/when incurred with debt is at a high interest rate.
mrmandmman
Being a "younger guy" I'd like to just say that my method of credit card use is very reasonable, using it to pay for everything, then paying it off every month in full. All the while getting a measly 5% on fuel and groceries and 1% on everything else. credit cards are just about the stupidest things you younger guys could ever get yourselves into..pay for things with money that you HAVE.. not money that "you're hoping to have."
