rolly850R
Well, I finally cured my vibration on idle with the AC switched on and sitting in drive by replacing the front engine mount and replacing the drive belt tensioner, idle pully and belt, Rich to bad you aint here anymore to see how your advice paid off.However.....I noticed whilst doing this that behind the pully for the PS pump, what used to be a rubber ring(very hard rubber with internal fibre threads etc, was in bits wedged between the pully and the pump.Pulled it out with a bit of effort, but, I am wondering what does it do? I couldn't take the pully off as I don't have a 9mm allen key - only an 8 and a 10mm Any ideas? Anyone know the part number?Car seems fine without it - no fluid spewing anywhere, and no extra rattles/vibrations.
