bmwtinut
I have been looking at my upper torque rod bushing lately on the new 2000 V70 R that I bought and have been wondering if the bushing was correct. It is loose in the housing I can move it with my hand. I just found this on ebay for the bushing in question. ORIGINAL PART 8649597, REPLACED BY NEW# 30680770Any one else have this issue with the bushing. I have noticed that the idle seems a litte rough but the car is running great. I am thinking that it could be the bushing as well as possibly the front engine mount near the passenger tire. Any suggestions. Thanks

bmwtinut
I know all about the other mounts, urethane ect. But from what I have been able to see is that Volvo has redesigned the bushing to be square in shape and not round. This is the Round one.

fastboy
The updated ones seem to be holding up quite a bit longer, but do seem to have a bit more flex in the bushing
