I am about to put a system in it. 2 12 Rockford Fosgate Punch Level 2s 4ohm subs, alpine 9847 deck, 5 1/4 kennwood components speakers,a Kenwood KAC-9102D amp, and a sealed box. Boomin850 Posted November 18, 2005 Report Share Posted November 18, 2005 First off...welcome to the board! You should be fine as long as you know what you're doing. You may have to help make those speakers fit, but then again many people have had different experiences with what will fit easily. But i have this amp as mentioned with these specs:Amplifier Type: Mono RMS Power: 500W x 1 @ 4 ohms THD at 4-Ohm RMS Power: 0.08 % RMS Power: 850W x 1 @ 2 ohms Speaker Level Inputs: Yes Preamp Outputs: Yes Built-In Crossovers: LP Bass Boost: 0 - 18 dB Frequency Response: 5-200 Hz Signal to Noise Ratio: 100 dB Fuse Rating: n/a This amp is going to power my 2 subs right. I want them to hit. And what type of wiring should i use. Or wiring kit. Boomin850 Posted November 19, 2005 Report Share Posted November 19, 2005 You should be set...As for the tweeters, I cut some ABS plastic to custom fit back in the stock location...Worked quite well. Id prolly just go with a 4guage amp kit since 8 guage is too weak for my liking. You should be fine tho, installs are pretty easy as long as you take your time. That plastic cam from a filing thingy we had laying around my garage. Worked out quite nicely if I must say so myself.
