whatme
ok well i have been thinking about this for a while (not that i plan on doing it anytime SOON if at all). Could you just get a big jerk turbo put on an already turbo car. I know everyone upgrades to a 18g or 19c but couldnt you just go to a shop and let them somehow affix a massive turbo in place of the old one?How about somethin like this?http://www.turbochargers.com/Turbos/TurboU...es/T3-T4-62.htmwith that thing you would be worrying about making your engine more durable and not ripping your tranny to shreds WAY before you hit its limits. I mean that thing pushes 800 cfm instead of like 550 with a 19cand considering they are selling them for $670........ That plus a couple hundred for fitting and your still in the ballpark of a 18g or 19c.I mean would there be any huge problems with this??

TorqueSteer
Ill take a 19t, those would never spool on our motors, and when they do theyll blow our rods skyhigh.
turbor850
Turbochargers.com = great company when I have been dealing with themmy turbo gets full boost at about 3800 rpmpic is 20G compared to stock turbo (which is pretty much the same as 16T/18T/19T in size)

narxs70
cool thread. thats a good thought, but it seems to me that factory Volvo turbos make good power for our motors. i guess if you wanted to make insane amounts of power then you would need something larger.
