JESSEXC
What you are going to save in price will be made up by shipping cost.

AutoX47
I am an amsoil dealer however I do not sell it outside of locally because with the cost of shipping it twice (it has to come to my location first) you might as well just buy it onlineWe always run amsoil in our racecars. The mazda has been racing since 89 and only blown motor was because a spark plug fell apart in the chamber.
Che'_Moderator
You run amsoil racing oil or the regular? Is amsoil even syn or is it a hydrocrack like Mobile?

Not the sythetic blends stuff. In the transmissions & diffs it really keeps the temps down
jross
Mike H. -- where in SoCal are you? I drift between San Luis/ Santa Barbara and Los Angeles, and I probably still can get Amsoil wholesale (got their "preferred customer" package when I bought ATF, came out cheaper for me...). PM me if you're interested.
volvoman
I have used amsoil in the past and have a good friend that is a dealer and was once sponsored by amsoil but i do not see any great avantage to using there product. I am not trying to say that they don't make a good product because they do actually but there are so many others that are out there now that are just as good.I guess what i am trying to say that is if you don't have a friend in the area that is a dealer it is not worth paying the shipping to get it to you. Mike H.
After some extra research on other forums, I think I'm going to stick with Mobil1, why mess with a good thing right?
james.rollins
i have run Mobil 1 in my '91 945T for the last 8 years, no complaints. the new (to me) '98 S70T5 came with Amsoil, so I will continue to use it. I don't like the idea of changing back and forth between the different syns.James
