Asinine
Well, i had my 854 at the end of last winter, but having the 55 at the begining of this one is quite friegtening!Last night i ended up having to drift a large corner near my house because i let off the gas mid way through a turn causeing the jerk end of the car to swing out. I managed well but i fear in an emergency vs. semi-agressive winter driving i might not be so lucky. Also, when i handbrake turn this puppy, that back end goes out of control. I was trying to drive down my street un-coordinated and it just went right around on my and i started heading for a curb. Thankfully i could control the out of control car so that i took the curb with no impact (front tire when in a drive way, swining back stopped before it came all the way around). This is defintily going to take some getting used to! And i'm definitly going to need my snows on ASAP - thankfully, we get a thaw next week!
fastboy
I almost wish I had fwd instead, the AWD slides that don't straighten out are a bit freaky too.....have fun with the learning curve!

C70drvr
The roads were terrible today. I was driving around in the R, and even with AWD, the car would still swerve after some sharp turns. I haven't taken my C out yet, I'm terrified. Ivanfbi
we had some snow last year, it was like a whole day, but i was driving from marysville at around 1am in about 2" of snow on empty freeway, that was awesome
Veneficus
I went out last night and played around with mine on the snow with the snow tires on and I had trouble cutting them loose. The only time I could really get them to kick out was after a hard right and then reverse to a sharp left or vice versa... I think shes ready to go. Supposed to be 15° again med-week next week.Well, i went out to do some hand-brake turning in the wagon tonight and get used to it on the snow. I didn't lose it accidentally at all tonight - so that's good.Got some good handbrakes in, but it is easy to lose it after a few back and forths.I'm still on all-seasons, but next week when it's warm again i'll be upgrading (ALL BLACK!) PyROTech
Why do you need to do hand brake turns in the snow? lol, was thinking that too.Dont you love canada? today on the way to work my rear end was all over the place. Got a set of winter tires but havent put em on yet, there sorta bald too, so i think i prob need a new set. Ohh if you want to fix yer problem real good, put snow tires on the front and summer on the back, that way you can have some real fun!
