He was trying to decide between a whole slew of cars including a miata, an s2000, and a couple others. He ended up going with a fully loaded (i mean this think makes a 3 series bmw look crude) accord hybrid, GPS navigation and all. Well at thanksgiving dinner he was talkin about how fast it is so we decided to go out for a little face off just to see how fast it was. Ok so we were just stopped in a long, open street in the neighborhood and we both floor it. I take off ahead of him as the gas engine has to turn back on in the accord ( :lol: ). I thought i was gonna stomp him, thinking "oh its just a hybrid," when at about 30 he blows passes me goin 35, maybe even 40. who new the hybrids were so fast.... well aparently it uses both its 260 hp v6 AND its (two??) electric motors to give it even more horespower than the regular accord..... well i gues that taught me to respect up to those hybrid eco cars....would still rather have the volvo though.....the accords just to ugly :D :D :Dand im sure after i get a chip and all that he wont be able to keep up. :P Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
