V Tuning 850
So I started my car tonite, and the LOW COOLANT light came on. A minute later it went off. So I went to Advanced Auto Parts and we both discovered that the coolant tank was empty, I mean completely. So I got some Prestone I think it was 50/50 stuff, cause on the tank it says use a 50/50 mix, and filled it up.Seems to be running fine now, no noticable difference though when it was dry. However I feel there is a leak. Should I have the stealership and or another shop look into this?As I don't have the time to look and figure out how to fix it myself.

No coolant = car burn up.The dealership will probably pressure-test it and see if there are any leaks.

V Tuning 850
dude, you gotsta get that scoped out asap rob.It will have to wait two weeks, so I can be at home to do it.Plans for home...1. Get coolant tank checked for leaks.2. Get an oil change.3. Go to Cindy Rowe for glass repair.
JoshV70
My coolant bottle used to leak like crazy (out of the top). I replaced the caps with other caps, and it didn't do anything. I finally replaced the coolant bottle, and it solved all my problems. No more low coolant, and no more leaking.

However I think it would take longer then this for it to all just evaporate.I am going to have it looked at when I go home for break.
