blown_volvo850r
There's a huge debate on the LouisvilleStreets forum I'm on. I watched the video, but I kept the sound off. The screaming would've haunted me for years. The killing was absolutely horrible. There was no call for any of that. I cannot even imagine the pain Berg went thru. And tonight on the news they interviewed his dad. Imagine being a father and watching ur son who serves for his country being eviscerated like that...there's no telling what he goes thru. Prayers for Berg's family and friends, and God Bless The USA.And let's go nuke the bastards ASAP. War isn't about us dying for our country...it's about the f--ker dying for his! A guy on LS posted this:it will never endwe can not when that war with the mood of our country this day, our forces are no longer allowed to do what is needed to win.We CANNOT win a war against an immoral enemy by fighting a moral war.Truer words have never been spoken.~Lee

AnthonyR
Vietnam, Part 2.-DanaIt's a loooooong ways from Vietnam. The two are so different, there is no way in which to compare them.Although I do agree that there are oh so many restrictions put upon us (soldiers) that we can not always finish the job like we'd like to, we just have to deal with it and do the best we can.I'm up for deployment next late winter early spring, and I'm actually looking forward to going over there, but that's probably just me Anyways, I'll stop there. I'm gettin tired and gotta be up early <_<

Dana
go bomb the crap out of themWho? If that was the answer, we would have done it in the first place.26 million Iraqi's we are 'liberating' and you guys want to nuke the place. Way to stick with something, guys. Remember what Colin Powell told the President? "You break it, you bought it."If we weren't willing to get this deep into the situation and make the sacrifices we are now then we never should have gone in there in the first place.-Dana

kenhoeve
Being the liberal that I am, but a closet moderate, the only answer is to abandon civilian operations to restore the country. Then only guard what is important, the oil distribution system. That is what is important to us, and gives the terrorists a smaller target. If they want to destroy themselves, it's all on them. If they want to blow up oil pipelines, they'll have to deal with us.BTW, peak oil is upon us.
matt1122
Yes, but I say why take a chance? Iraq is like a horse with a broken leg - the best thing to do is kill it before it suffers much more.

Why not?On a more serious note, I am very disapointed to see that these terrorists are a bunch of tazzy shits who won't show their faces on camera and not even on a good camera - was that filmed with a freakin webcam? Lame. Give me one hour with any of them, a shotgun, and a shovel and I'll take care of all of America's problems, one at a time.

I don't agree with his Father blaming his sons death on the Bush and the government though, it's not there fault Nick was over there. Nick new what he was getting into so.......Anyways stop jacking the thread and talk about the topic on hand.
