The car is auto(cry).I hvaent told my dad about this problem because it is probably not going to be the greatest news. What should i do, and have you heard of anything like this before? shurgen Posted December 8, 2005 Report Share Posted December 8, 2005 First thing to do is check the tranny fluid level, adjust it if missing fluid. merlin390 Posted December 8, 2005 Report Share Posted December 8, 2005 Check the transmission fluid like they said with the car hot, in neutral and the fluid should be red to pink. If the shake/vibration only occurs when braking I would check the rotors. Usually this is a good sign you have one or more rotors warped. If it is simple as warped rotors not time like the present to upgrade to cross drilled rotors you would notice transmisson slipping more so on acceleration than braking.
