Same with the block, two parts in perfect match.The cam and crankshaft carriers are custom-drilled when they are screwed together./Mike←Might work in some engines (luck) but often the cover put big pressure on the cams and they wont rotate./Mike←What Sweddish Mike is trying to say that the upper half of the head is not a valve cover but the upper half of the cylinder head and they can't be interchanged because when the factory drills the and align bores for the cam journals they are as one part and the chances of you just changing the upper half and it working without binding up the cams are very unlikely and should not be tried.← Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
