Guest Guest_UnsanePyro
Well, I have one of the door panels off right now trying to figure out a problem with my window (it goes down almost all the way fine, then within the last inch just the front part goes down, not the back, and the back is left sticking up about a 1/2").I figured with all the Peel N Seel/Dynomat talk thats gone on, it couldnt hurt to go spend a few dollars and pick some up, but I was just on Home Depot's site, and didnt see ti listed anywhere there that I could find, and was wondering if its just not on the site, or if they dont have it at all. There are some Lowe's around me, but I'm not quite sure how to get to them, and I figure that I'll be near Home Depot anyways (right next to the volvo dealership in Seekonk, Mass, need to get those little white tabs for the door) so it would be much easier. If they don't have any Peel N Seel, just look for something thin, with an adhesive back to it that follows a similar description to Peel N Seel I should be set, right?Has anyone tried other similar things and had good results with them too? jroot
Hey,I just picked up some peal n seal today at Lowe's in Woburn, Mass... (closest one to cambridge )It cost 12.49 for 6in (width) x 25ft (length)...so far I've done two layers on all my doors which was about 1 roll + 3/5's of another...I still plan to do one more layer on all doors and then do the trunk area and then I'll see what it's like after. If it's not what I want, I'll add more layers etc.But the two layers have definitely improved the rattles, it's noticeable. Hope that helps. JehovArob
Can I ask a question about your window? When you put it back up, does that part that goes lower stay lower after it has been raised? Because, that is what is happening with the rear passenger-side window in my car. What is the problem with your window, and does it seem likely to be the problem with my window? Thanks. Guest Guest
If you can't find peal-n-seal, there's another product called kwik seal at home depot. It does basically the same job.
