Asinine
Well i think my time at Best Buy is almost up - either they lay me off, or i make them fire me!On that note, i want to pick up some audio components at the employee discount (almos 60% off), but am currently not a audio guru. Therefore, can you suggest a good sub to get. I've got a bit of Pioneer equipment in the car already. I have access to Pioneer, JBL, Sony, RF, ...I'm thinking 10 - 12" mounted like Bing or exexpat!?Suggest away! exexpat
What are you goals for the stereo? Sound quality and spectral balance or lettin' da peeps know your isht gots da humps, yo? I prefer the first option, but I was young once, too. If you would like to achieve bass that is audible outside the vehicle, you'll probably want 1-2 >=10" subwoofers with high power handling and several hundred watts in a sealed enclosure. My stereo uses a 10w0 with 100w RMS on a baffle; that enables me to keep the spare and not consume any trunk space. I often need to haul around things like bark bags and strollers and I can't have anything taking up the space.

My only assumption is that you are working with the wagon? Link to subwoofer wagon
NGB
If you're still looking for a sub i would second Bing's recommendation of the Type R I have a 10" in my truck right now powered by a Hifonics Brutus Amp, it is plenty loud, but is also a decent SQ sub.
