mgscrib76
I've been getting some oil drop on the garage floor and suspect that turbo seal needs to be replaced. I saw the posts for the replacment of the s70. Is it the same concept for the '01 s80?-SCRIB

fastboy
What parts will I need to get, and can I do it myself? You SHOULD be able to do it yourself, but it is a bit of a pain, but if you are pretty good mechanically, it should be a snap30637866 x23514546 x2
starfish
Check your power steering suction hose at the pump and resevoir for leaks too. The oil trap seal has been known to leak on these models also. From either place the oil can migrate down to the front of the engine and create a big mess. I hope you have access to a car hoist if the turbo drain tube seals are leaking. I couldn't imagine changing those laying on a creeper. Typical labor time for both turbo drain tube seals and gaskets are about 5 hours standing up.
MrWinkey
I agree with Starfish...I'm more inclined to think you have a P/S leak...first you need to identify where the leak is coming from! ;)
