Dang guys.... I should have know Volvo guys are hockey fans too! Anyway, back on topic.

Interior is 95% finished. I have not installed the drivers seat or center console because I am still working on cables. This weekend I applied sound deadening material to the entire trunk.

I also applied a layer of OverKill foam matting to the rear deck to kill yet more sound. See that ball of black material in the background? I later used that up on top of the SD material in the trunk. Trunk is all assembled now, but my wife stole the camera while I was working on this stuff.

Ok - I received in my IPD sways (nice!) yesterday. I need to install them this weekend along with VMS endlinks unless Slater can come through with his newer version soon.

how bout you quit posting and get working! :)

I gotta tell you evereytime I come in here I hope there is pictures... but sometimes I get dissapointed :(

I just read all 22 pages in one day "working" at the office. B) This is the greatest thread! All the work that has been done is IMMACULANT! I'm new to Volvo's but have had a ton of VW,Porsche, and Honda projects so I know the pain/happiness that goes along with basicly rebuilding and entire car. Have you cheked w/Quaife (autotech) for an LSD?

I want to thank the avid (positive) readers of this thread. It is the positive input that has kept me going on the project between everything else going on.

So it is hard for me to say this, but Project 6 will pass on the Davis meet. This has been a hard choice between making a date (Davis) or doing it right. There is still a chance that I could make the Davis meet, but to do so would put a lot of risk into the project and ultimately having the car run like a Yugo.

So - I am going to keep plugging along on the project and make sure it is a solid crowd pleaser. There will be plenty of local meets over the summer that I can roll to... thanks to the support of VS members.

Ciao.

Evil, et al - thanks for the cool comments. In means quite a bit to me when I get frustrated with reality!!!! Comments like this weighed into my decision to take my time and do it right the first time. Thanks.

glad to hear you're not rushing.....we were talking about you trying so hard to make Davis, and we decided that you shouldn't try so hard. I just wanted to egg you on and make you give up lol. (seriously).

Take your time and get it right, I won't be at Davis anyway, so no one important for you to show the car off to. It'll just be a few NWC people and some NorCal freakshows, so it doesn't even matter.
