Anyone out there know of this Flywheel/Clutch Kit from SAM in Sweden? Any good?

Part no Description Pris SEK

95084159 Clutch, PROFESSIONAL/Semi-Metalic. 15395

Tourque capacity up to 690 Nm.

Pressure plate, sinter sprung center

driven plate and flywheel. All with 23

splining, M66, etc (fr 2002-?). Delivery

time 2 weeks from order.

This seems to be the highest capacity clutch setup out there for an M66 but I'm open for suggestions. This thing runs over $2100 USD so it is a stretch... but is it worth it???

You'd be good off asking the Swedespeed guys on that one.

While I had the front of the car jacked up (...plus me after a large coffee, a Krispy Kreme donut and 4 Red Bulls  ), I pulled the control arms do that I could get the axles set into the M66. Seems to fit like a Latex Glove!!! Here is a pic of the front sway and endlinks installed:

Scott, does that imply you have the M66 installed w/o any problems? Or does that only imply the connection gear box to drive shafts/wheels? Or also the connection of gearbox/clutch/engine?

Thanks....and i love what youre doing. So much to learn..... :D

And i already found out one thing: I am going to ditch my front IPD stabilizer: Too thick for my weight distribution --> understeer.

That implies that the connection gear box to driveshafts/wheels appears to be a perfect fit. Swedish Mike has already done this setup and he mentioned the need to shave about 2mm off the ends of the shafts. As Mike is the guru and I am a mere dweeb :monkey: on the matter, I not going to claim that the M66 is installed w/o any problems. Remember, there is still not clutch assy installed yet. Simply a mock-up.

Thanks too for the comments!

If you want to buy my stock sway, let me know!

Ok guys... enough goofin' off here. After a few days or detailing Bing's car, dodging the rain to make the Davis show, etc., I was motivated to take the day off from work and hang out in the garage.

Also - seeing all those nice Volvo rides at Davis including Doug K's new engine... damn... I couldn't sleep last night. I'm motivated now.

So, after a morning of catching up with bills, etc., I got the rear IPD sway installed this afternoon. Figured I would give you a compare picture between stock and IPD. Night and Day in my opinion!

I then started on my gauge setup. I am going to run a Triple gauge pod on the A-pod. That empty spot is for the Innovate A/F standalone gauge... arriving soon. AutoMeter Boost and Oil Pressure already mounted.

Now here is the single-DIN gauge setup that will mount right above my single-DIN head-unit. All my important temperatures at a glance. AutoMeters all across.

I am going to wait for the Innovate to arrive so that I can snake all the connections through the firewall and get the drill hole size and grommet correct. But everything is wired and waiting.

Will try to get back in the garage tonight!
