Remove the Air Mass Meter by loosening the hose clamp that attach the Air Mass Meter the to plastic tube."remember that i already loosened the clamp shown in pictures 2+3 by the red arrows and that it is very loose but i cannot pull the 2 pieces apartthanks guys, im sure ill have more questions

550
That hose... is what goes to the air pump. Just letting you know the turbo aint under that box... just for information sake.Take that hose off... that breather filter (the little filter) goes on that hose.As for the MAF... you need to take the t25 or t20 torx screws off of the box itself. 550
well you can do one of two things... you can mount it in that hole with the filteror just put it on the hose and put the hose whereverGreg cut his hose down so it sits more by the headlight now, and it just has the filter on it. I found it kinda hard to attach the other piece of the firewall to the fender using the hardware, but I eventually got it Anyways, just show us with pics where you are. Brickster151
stick the big filter over the MAF [the round "thing" with the square "stuff" in it] and install the little filter on the tube and you're done.
viperman135
Looks like you are almost there. The MAF is the sensor where that wire goes into and then the filiter plugs in on to the end of that. For the looks of it all you have to do it put the filiter on.As for the hose that goes to the air pump. Look at the far left of the pic. I just cut the pipe down and put this cheapo filter over it. Works until I can find something better.
