rodrigo Posted December 25, 2005 Report Share Posted December 25, 2005 Today I had some time to play with the XC, and the weather was 'warm' @ 45DegF so I took it up. Basically I have been meaning to do it (removing the 'CROSS COUNTRY' banner from the rear end) since I got it, just haven't had the time available to do it properly if messed things up. Actually went a lot easier than I thought...I thought this stuff was glued on with some super sdhesive, but the paint gun and even pulling...took about 20 min to get it off from one side to another. A little glue remover, water, wax....good as new Sorry for the bad pic on the bottom.Before:After:Actually makes it look a little wider since the rear glass seems less tall.I love it! It is the real thing, and not an imitation...I went to a plate place and convinced the guy to stamp me out a plate without any vehicle domumentation, as in Portugal you cannot get a plate without the 'booklet' that has the car's info and plate number.Having said that, I did remove them for a cleaner look. I love the Europlate on, but its too busy at the back end, and I refuse to install only the front. It's off for now.the plans are to just leave the AWD bit and right next to the Motorsport badge. I'm on stock for the winter and taking my time gathering all the things needed for the change.looks good, i like it... but i like the euro plate behind the regular plate.Well, it is christmas, and the cops are out here like scarface on coke...so I'm playing it safe...NYPD likes to see front plates on cars, and this time of year you get pulled over for looking at them funny (which I usually do )glad you guys like it :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I'm not sure if the regular XC has all that, but I saw a couple of XC's with cloth/vynil seats, and no butt warmers.Retarded Euro plate.....its tin, mate! it has no inteligence.
