Trunks850R
best i got was over 80 in a 55(he gave me the 74 to help me out) cant count how many times ive seen a cop do a U turn and i pull into someones driveway and cut the lights. one night i had one chase me in my 85 240 wagon, i pulled into my brothers driveway, he passed the house and went to the main road.i ran inside, got my brother and drove back to my parents house(this was in 95 when i was 16) and parked my wagon behind the house, and got my dads truck. i saw that same cop in my neighborhood 3 hours later still creeping around lookin for me.(remember in TN there is no flat land) but yeah ive been to driving school in 6 different countys, what really sucks is that mailing your tickets in for 10 dollars over the amount doesnt work anymore(it worked on my wedding day!) Gioseppe
he followed me for about a half mile with all his lights off (even headlights), then right as i was 10 feet from the first stop line, braking, he turned on ALL of his lights, highbeams, sirens, top dome lights. scared the stuff out of me and i looked back and by the time i looked forward, i was through the stop.it was 11pm, on an unlight street.there was no reason that i wouldn't have stopped, there was a car on both sides, wanting to cross in front of me.bastard said he saw me run two different ones. I'm dumb. he even had a lazy eye..... so naturally i question. with one eye, you can't judge distance(no depth perception)

kenhoeve
Funny you mention that, as some people I know are all gAnGsTaH speeding when they are out of NY, like in RI, DE, PA...since they are out of state they figure they will just get a fine. What they don't seem to realize is that the fine is usually enormous to compensate for the lack of points.Since they do not listen, I am waiting to one day get a call from a little jail in Delaware... the key is this though, if I would've kept my license in the other state, there would have been problems. i waited a couple months for the ticket to clear the system, and then I obtained a license in the state in question. like it never happened. but yes, the judge realized this and I paid dearly. I was not particularly happy at the time considering illegal aliens in the same court session with no license at all were getting their tickets cut in half. at least I pay taxes. grrrrr. VolvoT5
I cant remember the exact speed but it was around 137mph in an 80mph limit just south of Paris, France. I got a ticket payable on the spot for 90 EURO which is about the same in USD.

I heard they cashed your cheque then mailed you the difference back - never tried it although i should. How it works is that until you cash the cheque they send you the offence remains open on their books and when/if you insurance company runs your driving abstract they don't see the ticket.Kind of like getting it lost in the paper-work mix. I have a ticket (non-driving related) that's been lost in the mix right now ($300 noise violation from my summer keg party ).
