turbobrick Posted May 18, 2004 Report Share Posted May 18, 2004 so... i've been procrastinating alot.. what would u do here, i'd like to have cd audio, i have a nice MP3 indash cd player that i've transferred to two different cars... now that i have my 850 with its killer tape deck.. im at a halt on what to do.i'd love to put the mp3 deck in.. but am wondering if the harness bypasses the stock amplifier ? the reason i say this is well.. i dont have the funds right now to lay down all this money on a good amplifier, i have a crappy jensen 4 channel amp but fear hooking it up will lessen the quality that i can get from the stock system... right now i have my ipaq hooked up to the tape deck through a tape kit but its starting to get tedious having to pull the ipaq out of the console to change the song... so what would you do ? i'd like to put what little funds i do have towards making the car perform better... and not in the audio department so as little money spent as possible is great for right now, with room to upgrade. i considered purchasing a cd changer and just using standard cd's but then i would be out like 100 bucks.. errr dunno what to do. I was thinking that maybe you could make an imput that will connect your stock amp to RCA outputs. The rca's could then be plugged into outputs from the HU. ANd yes anthony did have the outs on his site, but till it gets up again...well do some diggin around in past posts about it, I know it has come up.
