steve s Posted December 29, 2005 Report Share Posted December 29, 2005 there's defeat mode.. with it on, it's pretty dull, can't adjust treble or bass, but the noise is gone. with it off, it sounds a lot fully, but with the noise.what the heck does it really do? Yes it is also to disable the adjustments for down-the-chain audio processors which could be affected by frequency adjustments (ie Dolby-prologic decoders).
