BenW
Heres the skinny..... Pics in post belowIts a IDQ10 V2 sub with dual 4ohm coils. IMage Dynamics which is a company dedicated to SOUND QUALITY. NOT DECIBELS!! Ask Bing, he runs a IDQ12.The sub is mounted securely in a SEALED 0.6 ft^3 MDF enclosure. That is spec given by ID. Additionally, designed the box in Solidworks to be the EXACT volume internally. I built the box, using high quality MDF, 2" drywall screws, and liquid nails inside on all the seams. The box measures about 18"x12"x9" deepAdd to this that the box is designed to fit right behind the seat of an 850wagon. RIGHT in that angled area, and the sub fires backwards. The box is bare wood and can be carpeted, painted, or scrapped. The sub IS wired internally toi present a 2ohm load to the amp but I never finished the setup completely so it should probably be taken out and the wires soldered into place. The sub itself sells for $149 on Sounddomain. I'm looking to get $150 for the setup shipped in the CONUS. thats a pretty good damm deal, figureing the thing weighs about 30 lbs.here's why im selling. Sub was in the 850R when we were in a wreck. Sub was not damaged but i never got around to putting it into the V70. jessica now drives the V70, and has no gripes about the stereo. And me? I want to put some money into the 242 project. So there.Interested? Lemme know.
