Bing_0 Posted January 2, 2006 Report Share Posted January 2, 2006 well, you may need an adapter ring to fit the speaker in the stock location...but from my experience, if you going with something in the range of a boston pro, putting htem in the stock location is kinda of a waste. i have done set ups usinghte same speakers for 70 series both in kicks and stock locations, and the result is pretty dramatic b Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Bing_0 Posted January 3, 2006 Report Share Posted January 3, 2006 well, assuming you hav ethe same door structure as a s70...thestock speaker is suspended in a ring type of stucture.this ring may or may not fit your bostons, you must fabricate this ring so to space hte spekaer out. once oyu tak ethe door off, you will see what i mean...but honestly. the performance of the stock door location, IMO, is mediocre at best...and where doy ou plan to put the tweet? i think the boston pros, whcih are harsh speakers to begin with, will make your ears bleed if you put the tweet in the stock dash location b Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
