Changed Strut Mount, And Now Abs And Tracs Warn Light Coming On

First off my car is 1995 850 T5R

OK, so i had this noise on my passenger side front sounding like a strut was going out or the mount, turns out it was the mount no biggy, jacked it up...compressed the spring....me being a newby to the volvo, didnt have their proprietary tool...to remove the iron cross looking screw to remove the boot, but no biggy there, got it off, changed it, took it for a test drive, beautiful...no more rattle yatta yatta.....then i notice the ABS and trac control light come on, which they never did before? So im thinkin a sensor somehow got funked, or it noticed the change, so I went into the manual, didnt see anything on there, only thing is it shows that if there is immediate pressure or if the brake fluid pressure has changed it will come on and then turn off after 20 or 30 mph? Is this correct? Has anyone else had this problem or know if this is my case, becaue i have been driving it for a month or 2 and nothing has come up untill i did this strut mount change. I will not be able to drive it for a test drive for their 20 or 30 mph for a few days..as I just tinted the windows and did some touch up on the outside of the body, mainly trim and such. And by the way forgive me, this is my first volvo i have owned or for that matter have even done any mechanical work on. If you check out my pic below you will see my story. Its a crappy pic but it was only one i have right now. Thanks for all help - much greatly appreciated.

a

I'd say you did bugger up the ABS wheel sensor on that side. Were you careful with it when you took it off and put it back on? Could be just the wiring to it on the sensor mount. Others will chime in who know more. ABS control modules are however prone to issues in our cars, but if I recall correctly, no so much in the '95 models.

Yeah, thats what im thinking, I was very careful with it so I'm hoping its just the sensor, and it will go back to normal after driving it for few miles.

Thanks for the reply thou!

You might pull the ABS relay and drive it for a couple of miles and then put it back in. Probably will clear faster. However, while it's pulled, neither your speedo or cruise control will work.

Couldnt sleep - hehehe went outside to the garage, started inspecting the ABS connector, and found it to be faulty, just a bad connection. Did some cleaning, and and adjusting, shes a happy camper now, light went right off :D Thanks again madeinjapan for the reply, i shouldve listened to your first post and double checked it.hehehe....just goes to show you the small things you can overlook.
