Nebor
You forget, these cars get worse 0-60 as the power increases... they just refuse to get traction. Mine's gotten better. In fact, the 0-60 is really only a huge problem for you 5spd guys. Ask Chris how fast he can get to 60.
USMC850T
Well I went at it again today for 4-5 runs. Same cam settings, but I got faster. I'd chalk it up to letting the wheels spin a little more off the line, such that they regain traction right before the meaty section of the powerband.6.55 by the way. bus stop
I may miss it from your post but what is the time (like 0-60) BEFORE you install the QBM Adj. Cam ?
BlackT5
and what did you find your cams were set at before you adjusted them??
USMC850T
Pre cam adjustment 0-60 was 6.9 sec. Sorry, I didn't catolog the pre adjustment data in anywhere near the detail as I have of my recent runs.Pre adjustment:Intake cam: as far as i could tell half way between 0 and a half degree of advance.Exhaust was neutral, or TDC. Actually I don't really know what you call no advance or no retardation. Both are right around 2 degrees advance now. I'm considering moving the Exhaust about 1 degree more advanced (3 degrees total advance) to see how that affects things.
