mikie
I'm scheduled for an oil change tomorow, so I went out to buy some oil...Oooppss I got 5W20 instead of 5W30. However I got enough of 10W40 from the summer time, should I mix them? I'm figuring I should just return it and get a 30 rating????

Now if you had lets say some 5w-30 and 20w-50...yeah..probably not a good idea to mix those. I'd say if you don't need to mix oil, don't do it. maximase86
10-40 should be alright. I personally use 10w-30 all the time in my car. I used to have a truck that I ran 10-40 all year round. It should be okay even up in montreal.S

U ll probly will get a 5-25W Avoid if possible to mix with a 10-40 as those stuff seems to me not 100pct syntheticregards
