Asinine
Well, i wanted to keep this under wraps till i spent a LOT of time and money on the front end of my car, but the mad scientist wants to see them on my car, and to be honest so do i!HOWEVER, between snowboarding, starting my own business and going to MI to get some parts to fix my old 850 i won't really have the weathers co-operation or the time until later this week. And i am reluctant to install them since i don't as of yet have HIDs.Anyhow, this is the Butt tickler...headlamp via Jer, corner via FrankI found out that the headlamp wiper motor is removable without removing the light, but hadn't thought if the light needs the wiper motor to sit on. Anyone know, i assume not since CWP wasn't on all cars!Anyhow, that's the missing set! And they're AWESOME! Jeremy is a god among men, he needs to be sponsored to stay in the volvo game indefinitly! Asinine
Yo, i've got no garage and it's -15 with the windchill right now (°C)I've got about 1500kms to put on the car in the next 4 days as well, so i'm going to wait till after that, but some imitation HIDs and then suit up.I really wanted these to go in the same time i did a grille, eyebrows and new trim w/o the wiper arm hole but i've kept my mouth shut about these too long already!I'm getting stir crazy! Patrick.
having a garage is a huge plus, I have to go change my oil right now actually. I'm taking as much advantage of my garage here at home while I can until I have to head back down to school where the best thing my car can hope for is the campus parking structure

Guest asinine @ the rents!
Graydon is close enough to me that if he has a garage i'd make a trip to use it!No i have not taken out my headlights before, so i'm sure i won't be able to do it in 10. Not to mention i'll need to re-adjust my hood latches. Here's what needs to be done, and why i need at least a kinda warm day:- headlamps (obviously)- corners- remove wiper motorsAlso, how hard is it to remove the trim pieces with the holes for the wiper motor? Will i need to disassemble things again to swap out the new trim?

Patrick.
man I wish you lived close to me, jeremy, or someone who has messed w/ the headlights a million times so we could see how they look. Hopefully someone in your area who has experience can offer you up some kinda assistance :pizza:
Guest Guest_patrick_*
Is it something i need assistance with, or just time and inexperience!?I wasn't going to call my mechanic to lend a hand, but might if it's gonna be beyond my mechanical skill level. Patrick.
no I think you can easily handle it, but since it's so cold it'd be nice to have someone there who knows EXACTLY what they're doing so it goes quickly and smoothly
