USMC850T
Ok I've stage 0'd my 855t. It's got 110K on it right now (no leaks or anything like that, about to flush the tranny too) and I'm about to pull the trigger and ECU it. What I'd like to know is who is running what chip, and for how long. Also, has anyone had major problems with their motor since chipping it? I think i'll be looking for a chip to go to about 15psi boost (on the edge of 15G efficiency).oh say hi to my new boost gauge gonna look real sweet in a nice carbon fibre shell that I'll fabricate for it. viperman135
I have had the ST chip for about 1000miles (yes I know not very long). Only problem I have had is that of blowing a intercooler pipe off. Mainly my falt for not tighting the clamp down enough.
USMC850T
Thats all good to hear. I'm gonna go with the ST 15 pound chip. I don't wanna put much more than that through the tranny until I put the cooler I have sitting around on it.
JHEIII874T5M
Get an aftermarket exhaust on there, you don't want the exhaust temperatures heating up. Also, depending on the spark plugs you used for the stage 0, you may want to go a heat ranger colder as you will be increasing your boost levels. dancetheman
when you get the 17psi one, you don't need to use all 17, it's just nice to know it's therei've had no problems on mine and i hardly ever boost that high...usually up to 11 or 12 is plenty for what i need
VolvoWill
If you plan to run more than 15psi later on you should go ahead and get the ST 17psi. Saves you $
USMC850T
So you guys really think on stock motor and tranny in good shape I will be ok with a 17psi chip? I would probably find myself going WOT often! Whats the flywheel HP difference between the 2psi?
JCviggen
Whats the flywheel HP difference between the 2psi?Very little as you wont hit 17 psi much at all.
