mAydAy
Well, My system crackles and cuts, probably from lack of power. When the bass hits and theres a lot of different frequencies and things. I'm thinking I'm simply killing the head. So, what would it take to switch from head power to amp power? I've got almost all updated components, just waiting to pick up my other Kappa crossover and install them, then its all upgraded. How does one change over to amp powered speakers instead of head powered? What does it take?

mAydAy
Well, I definitely want to power the 6x9"s off it, sicne I know they're taking alot of power, they're Polk 3-ways. The rear doors are pioneer premiers and the front doors will be infinity Kappa's, and gotta find new something for the dash. What do yall suggest I do? V Tuning 850
Ok sounds to me like you wanna power six speakers, and get a new HU.1. Go with the JL Audio 6 channel amplifier from Twetter, or whoever sells JL Audio near you.2. I would go with a Pioneer HU, they are the best, and you don't need to get their exspensive ones to do the job either.
V Tuning 850
Oh wait dash do you mean dash speakers? If so go with some Boston Acoustic 3", they are nice, and or get a component set of anoher brand or boston and put them in your front doors, and put the tweeters in the dash. Just got to hook the tweets to the crossovers and put int he crossovers and kappa's.
V Tuning 850
Nice, then I suggest going with a 4 or a 6 channel amplifier. 4 only for four speakers, and 6 for 6.
T-5Bandit
First off, he doesn't need a 6 channel amp to run 6 speakers. If you have a quality 4 channel amp with ample power, you can wire all 6 sets to run off the 4 channel amp.As for your tweeters, I would suggest fitting them into the doors for better staging and sound quality. The dash location is a terrible location for any speaker.Good luck!
