Volvo Virgin Posted February 3, 2006 Report Share Posted February 3, 2006 I can pick one up with under 50K on it for a good price(well under NADA)I hate Ford with a passion,so that is weighing in on me,but what about the cars in general.How much Ford is in the 2002 cars?The motor is the 2.3 turbo,which I'm assuming is the same as the older HPT versions and the ones in the 2002 C70's.Feedback people? beachnut Posted February 3, 2006 Report Share Posted February 3, 2006 Yeah, I just don't feel the S60 ... never have, never will. The V70 is better, but even then I've never been a fan of the "broad shoulder" fender lines of either car. The V70 pulls it off better since it's a longer car visually. That said though, I think you'd be okay going with a P2, but get an '02 or '03, maybe try to stay away from the '01. Same basic motor, 2.3 16T angled flange turbo, possible etm issues, fair amount of cosmetic and drivetrain mods. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
rodrigo Posted February 3, 2006 Report Share Posted February 3, 2006 Rob, the only S60 I like is the R version.I, like beachnut, am not crazy about the 'hips' thay have from the side, but the rear end looks good in my opinion.I wish I could help you more, but I don't know too much about them (barely get by on my XC )Good luck with what you end up choosing, though.
