ISO is used to measure the speed of photographic film/digital capture device. The higher the ISO rating the faster the film/device is, and fast film affords better exposures in low light situations.The tradeoff is that the faster the film gets, the more the grain or noise size increases giving the final image a fuzzy look. g@ttigang Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I saw some of her shots and she purposely had some grainy but she told me that with a digital the grain is not as nice as the grain in a non digital camera. Thanks for the info! Something else you can try is a real long exposure time (low ISO small aperature (f22+)) and find a nice white flashlight and actually "paint" the car with the flashlight.
