USMC850T
Ok I'm sending my ecu out tomorrow to be chipped. Pulled the cover off the ECU compartment and to my suprise there were two units in there, one which says Aisin AW Co. LTD, 5.3 and the other says Bosch 8.2I though there are only 1 cards in the ecu compartment but obviously im wrong. I think I'm supposed to send out the one which says Bosch on it right?? WTF is the other board that's in there? Thanks in advance, jeff

JHEIII874T5M
One is the TCU, one is the ECU. One will say 8.x . The other will say 5.x or something like that. The 8.x is the one you want to take out. The ECU should be the one closest to the engine.
George @ ViVA
Closest to the engine is the engine ECU.The other ECU (Asin Warner) is your automatic transmission unit (TCU). A manual transmission equipped car lacks this, and therefore that area is blank.
