psy
Ok I have 2 12's that are sitting in a box in my trunk but I want to clean it up and remount them but I'm unsure on how to calculate air space that would be needed my subs are the original alpine type R's and I understand they are have varible air space you can use .75-1.25 if not mistaken correct me if wrong. But can someone tell me the dimensions I would need to use to get a .75 air space enclosure for just 1 of the subs? thank you in advance.
the underlørd
there's programs you can get online that will calculate everything for you.edit - for free.
Kibim
WinISD is a good program. Also, manufacturers often include spec. box sizes with thier drivers these days. Do a google for the program, it's free If I recall Correctly.

Account_Deleted_T5M
I used 3/4" MDF on my custom box, heavy as $h!t but well worth it. I also recommend carpeting any box and not leaving the wood finish.
