Custom Exhaust Pictures

Gatti I can see how the kids might find it slightly uncomfortable. That muffler is about as big as the flex connector on the down pipe.

Are you taking offers on the exhaust?

RAzOR I've had it for a couple months now and starting to really enjoy it after I installed the resonator. I really think this setup will last me for sometime so I don't think I'm going to even consider selling it . You can contact VMS if you really want this setup but I'm not sure if Terry has the time to do another one since he's still in the moving mode. B)

what do you guys think is the best type of place to get a custom 3" made up? Like a chain brand of stores, or just some speed shop. I am just outside of NYC on the Jersey side, if anybody knows of any good shops around the area... would be greatly appreciated.

Third option would be to go to Summit or similar for steel pipe, buy the mandrel bends and straight pipe. If you know someone with a cut-off saw and a mig welder, you've got an exhaust for a couple bucks (or beers :D ) worth of labor.

If you don't have friends in the know, you've got this board for shop recommendations. I'd say get a couple quotes and judge the knowledge of the person, see some of their other work. The concept is the same for any car: cut pipe, weld pipe, weld hangers.

man, i wish my timing belt wasn't going to be soo much and i would be able to do my exhaust. all these look great and give me some good ideas on how to run mine if i can ever get to it.

Slightly OT, but the belt is $27 online and iPd's kit is... $53 for belt and DIY DVD.

They had a cam gear lock tool, which helps with the crucial part of NOT borking the cam gears.

Can that equal the cost of an exhaust?

Just trying to help you get both, ;)

cam lock isn't important, as long as the crank doesn't move the cams can be adjust easily.
