the underlørd
Ok but where do I go to make the wastegate adjustment, top or bottom, and which way to turn.take off the heatshield, and you'll see the Rod coming from the actuator to the valve. take off the pin, take the rod off of the valve, loosen the jam nut, and then tighten it 2 turns or so like Jan said. Retighten the jam nut, and put it all back the way it went apart.edit.. gregg beat me to it.

ViperVettte
If you're not interested in the T with the BOV kit... this place has great pricing.http://www.9secondracing.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi?kws=volvoOT just for a second. How come the blue hoses are 64$ cheaper then the Red and Black ones?
Gregg
OT just for a second. How come the blue hoses are 64$ cheaper then the Red and Black ones?those are the blue coolant hoses, not turbo hoses ;)
EricF
That hose Joseph showed is pretty crucial. That crack typically limits boost to 10-12 psi...You mentioned you checked charge hoses, but make sure that the base of the T coming off of the hose before the throttle body is not cracked, as I have had 4-5 of those crack on my cars, two of them brand new from the dealership. It happens Not visible upon a brief inspection, have to move that T hose around a bit to see.Aside from that, could be leaking CBV, could be a couple other things as well... You won't drop that much boost from vacuum lines though I'm pretty sure. Tighten the wastegate a bit and see where that gets you :)
USMC850T
The wastegate was the culprit. I tightened it down 2 full turns which has me around 15psi right now, hopefully tomorrow I'll get a chance to get back in there and do another 1.5 - 2 turns to let the boost reach its intended level. I took a bunch of pictures while I was doing it so I could make a guide for those who have never done it before. It was a hell of a lot easier to do once I took of the charge air line leaving the compressor section. I had to have my younger brother help cause I didn't have enough hands to hold the tools and light at the same time.
