SkyWriter Posted February 12, 2006 Report Share Posted February 12, 2006 On the way home, i left-hand-lane-freeway-tailed-gated a mustang with the vanity plate 'stang'. now i had a loner; a silver GLT, early 90's i guess while my S80 is in the shop for upgrades so just keeping up with him as he idled was tough enough, but once i got close he gunned it and put 7 cars between us, after that i had to keep up with him (road was crowded enough nobody could get a performace advantage anyway like getting about 80mph. i ended up passing him on the right, to get in front of a cellphoner who was deadheading the lefthand passing lane, and the gap closed up before 'stang' could slip in behind me ) so, on a totally lame technically I won; since he never caught back up (and he was trying)! all good fun on a sunny saturday what a waste of a vanity plate... edit: forgot to mention, this is an n/a glt 4-door silver sedan old silver condition, but still nice look to it. it's just the "once you've driven a turbo, there's no going back" feel to it. have fun, be safeSkyby the way: i would die for an honest to goodness 1966 GT40 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
