BenW
Still a ton of sanding to do and prob a few more skims of filler then glazing putty. But I went ahead and put them in the car. Both sides bolted up fine. I added a additional nut and flat washer set up to hold them to the upper panel a bit better than the weak stamped nuts that were holding it on.Both sides fit quite well.Thought I'd give you guys a taste tho, i'll post more pics in the daylight tomorrow maybe. Makes me want an amp on these things even moreso.

Bing_0
so di you plan to carpet it? or vinyl it? or paint it? if you plan to carpet, you dont need to go through all the trouble with find snding, just get it so there istna ny major bumps or intedentations, ifit looks like 60 grit sand paper or even a bitrough, carpet will take care of all ofthat and smooth it out remember to use really stretch carpet and pull hard around that curve if you plan to vinyl, and you havent dont a lot of vinyling before,, remember to get the head strechable vinyl, a heat gun, and order extra, cuase its hard to get it right hte first itme, I still suck at vinyling things with lots of curves b
BenW
In order of preference..1 - Black Vinyl2 - Flat Black Paint3 - Black Carpet.I worry about the carpet attracting dirt. I worry about the paint chipping and the fact that i'd have to sand for weeks to get it perfect. And I worry about getting the vinyl to conform to the odd surface. So im left with those three choices. You know what would also be cool, carbon fiber fabric. Guest bing at work
well, to vinyl you would really need for it to be perfect too, vinyl shows small imperfections really well...and you chose a car - black, whcih is the easiest to tell inperfections in...carpet would be ny number one choice, dirt? get it shampooed out with paint andvinyl, its really easy to make it look bad...b

Thanks in advance!
