ncst8wuf
How do I remove the old Air Mass Sensor from the hose once I have the hose clamp removed. It will slide around, but I can't get it out of the hose. Thanks
wills
I just pull very hard and carefully. It's a tight fit.
ncst8wuf
Thanks wills, I finally got it out. Now I have 2 additional questions.1. Will an Air Mass Sensor from a 99 V70 turbo work on a 2000 v70 XC?2. I've already replaced the OEM with said 99 AMM and it is still tripping to P1171, could there be another cause? Thanks

ncst8wuf
thanks guys. So either the replacement AMM is also bad, or it's probably a vacuum leak?I've just had it in to my mechanic and he checked the vacuum lines. What is the likelyhood he may have missed one? As for the skills of your mechanic.... i dunno.. you might want to replace them all yourself, with silicone ones, there are kits available for pretty cheap here on the website.. takes a couple hours or so. ncst8wuf
No, it's not a new MAF. I have a 30 day warranty on the MAF.How long should it take to reset the CEL, once I put the new one in?
