Well the mod of the XBMC subforum (on xboxscene) basically said it was a stupid question; then it quickly faded to the second page, then i stopped paying attention to it. lol

Maybe its the XS equivalent of "how do i make my car faster?" here

Scott, I think your idea about using linux for touchscreen seems like the easiest approach.. I'm just a sheltered windows guy who doesn't know where to start. *sigh* add it to the top of the 'projects' pile...

This xbox thing looks pretty sweet, but how good is it for applications other than just music and videos/games? I'm currently working on an ICE system in my wagon using the Road Runner front end off of my laptop (through a docking station under the drivers seat) to Flip out touchscreen via VGA/USB. Also, for those of you looking into touchscreens Xenarc makes some high qual stuff...but Bing prolly knows best.

I'll have to find the place that mentioned that XBMC had touchscreen support with a touchkit based touchscreen (ala bings screen and lilliput.)

We do need to get together though with the MN guys. I just recessed my screen into the dash today and it looks way freakin sweet (just need to work on some trim to screen blending)
