Gioseppe Posted March 1, 2006 Report Share Posted March 1, 2006 how hard was it to load xmbc on the xbox, thats the only thing making me shy away from buyin an xbox and doin itif you end up doing it and your sodlering skills are quesitonable.. i can mod it for you. i've done quite a few xboxs with the xecuter 3 chip. HPTDoh Posted March 2, 2006 Author Report Share Posted March 2, 2006 Well the mod of the XBMC subforum (on xboxscene) basically said it was a stupid question; then it quickly faded to the second page, then i stopped paying attention to it. lolMaybe its the XS equivalent of "how do i make my car faster?" here Scott, I think your idea about using linux for touchscreen seems like the easiest approach.. I'm currently working on an ICE system in my wagon using the Road Runner front end off of my laptop (through a docking station under the drivers seat) to Flip out touchscreen via VGA/USB. AnthonyR Posted March 3, 2006 Report Share Posted March 3, 2006 I'll have to find the place that mentioned that XBMC had touchscreen support with a touchkit based touchscreen (ala bings screen and lilliput.)We do need to get together though with the MN guys.
