rodrigo
The roof rails look different on my XC than they do on the 850's and other V70's. They are not integrated onto the black roof strip like the 850/V70 ones. The base of the XC rails have a notch out at the feet for the plastic strip to be able to underneath...it almost look as if the black strips are smooth, and the XC rails are mounted on top...and these removeable without having to replace the black plastic stips on the roof to the ones used bt the rail-less wagons?anyone know?? the underlørd
there are two different versions.. the ones that you have, and then ones that you've described..interestingly, the ones that you've descibed, i've ONLY seen on Lazer Blue V70R's...you can remove yours, but..... you have to get the ENTIRE one piece replacement roof rail strip.. it's $$$$.. and you can't really buy it online.. cause shipping is next to impossible. drPheta
Rod, I have a pair of roof trim that is NOT going to be shipped anywhere. SHIPPING IS TOO EXPENSIVE. You can have it at the next meet for free... or for a lunch at Rein's Deli... or something yummy... or a dyno pull... When/if you take off your rails, you'll notice the trim left behind is cut into sections. The rail platforms go between the sections. by the way, I will also trade your rails for my trim, if you want.
