starfish Posted February 27, 2006 Report Share Posted February 27, 2006 The ECM found a fault with the camshaft position on engine start up. Possibilities could be low or worn out engine oil, low oil pressure, clogged oil feed lines, a faulty camshaft reset valve or a faulty CVVT unit. Your engine thermostat may be stuck open and the engine is not reaching operating temp quickly enough. There was also a software update that might help this concern if the T/stat and ECT sensor are ok.Sounds good to me...I would change the oil if it hasn't been done in awhile and clear codes and see what returns .....Unless you just recently had a timing belt done....then that's a whole diffrent story?
