Anyone Know How Many Pulses Per Revolution For The Speedometer?

Basically looking for how many pulses per revolution the speedo in a 96+ volvo is looking for, for speed sense reasons. I know it is a digital 12V pulse but I need to know how many pulses.

I'm trying to figure out how to get my speedo working again after the manual swap as I have a 95 (with the older ABS comp) but I have a trans from a 96 and a cluster from a 98.

Most cars are only 4 per revolution but I fear the Volvo might need 48 (# of teeth on the driveshafts)

I spoke with Todd (ProjectT5R) about the speedo working with the manual swap and his speedo works with the wires splicing into the abs method. Have you actually tried this? I tried mine but I'm pretty sure my splice was bad. His manual swap was on his 95 T5-R.

Yes, I did try this, and all it seemed to do was give me an ABS light. Although I could have had the wires backwards, but I'm pretty sure I tested it. I guess it's worth a shot to try again. One thing too though is I am using an S70 cluster, so that is probably getting the AC signal from the ABS
